2010 WEXFORD BOOK FESTIVAL

Welcome to the 2010 Wexford Book Festival a celebration of books and reading! The festival, now in its sixth year, features 14 events over three days of which many are free of charge. This year's festival is an eclectic mix of author readings, workshops and children's activities.
The 2010 programme provides a number of workshops for adults including memoir writing, experiments with poetry and reading development. For children a book making workshop in Wexford Arts Centre will inspire novice readers to bring to life their favourite books and characters. Wexford Library is holding a host of children's events including a special toddler's story time event, a reading workshop with children's author Mary Arrigan, a poetry reading with Irish language poet Nuala Ni Dhomhnail and much more!
RTE presenter of The Buzz and Sattitude, Shonagh Lyons will interview Wexford Book Festival's patron and internationally celebrated science fantasy fiction author, Eoin Colfer in Wexford Library as part of the festivities.
Acclaimed screenwriter, film director and satirist of Scrap Saturday fame, Gerard Stembridge will take part in this year's Literary Lunch in Whites Hotel. Gerard's sharp wit and entertaining insights to modern Irish life provide the backdrop to his latest book, Counting Down.
